This coffee is a mix of the Castillo, Caturra and Bourbon varieties, grown at 1500-1800 masl in the Tolima Region of Western Colombia. The brewed coffee has a distinct aesthetic and clear body with notes of Citric fruit, Mango and Caramel, followed by an atfertaste of milk chocolate and nuts. We roast this coffee very light to highlight the fruity character of the beans potential.
Recommended Brewing Method
We recommend this coffee for filter and french press.
We source this coffee from the Cafe Granja La Esperanza cooperation. Originally founded in 1945 by Juan Antonio Herrera and his wife, the familybusiness has since the nineties been continued by two of their sons who also strive to innovate the production. For one, they decided to go organic and are experimenting with new varieties such as Gesha and Bourbon. We are excited to bring you this mix and add to their struggle to make highend specialty coffee grown environmentally sustainable.
