Story
Sierra Nevada is the highest coastal mountain in the world, rising 5775 masl. and considered a biosphere reserve by UNESCO. At the foothills of this massive mountain range our coffee is grown by the indigenous people of four tribes; the Arhuacos, Kankuamos, Koguis and Wiwas. Their traditional methods ensure a sustainable production based on balanced and careful conservation of natural resources. The wide range in height of growth is due to the fields being situated at slopes of between 50 and 80 degrees.
