After high demand, we've decided to roast and compose a blend specifically for brewing on french press. The blend consists of carefully selected beans from Indonesia and Colombia. While being a bit to the fruity side, it is complimented by a solid body and vinous undertones.
The indonesian beans provide the body and base of the cup. Being naturally very low in acidity, this ensures a slightly fermented taste. We've roasted the beans to emphasize this aspect and bring as much natural sweetness as possible in the taste. Bringing a little extra, the Colombian beans are naturally very fruity and clear in taste, so we decided to make a light roast. This gives an exiciting acidity and fruity finish to the cup.
All in all, we feel that the two varieties compliment each other very well and gives a delicious drink with a lot of impressions to the tongue.
Recommended type of brewing
Though we, naturally, recommend you try this on a french press, the blend also works very well on filter or aeropress.
Story
Our organic blend for french press consists of 50% semiwashed coffee from the Gayo highlands of Indonesia and 50% washed coffee from Colombia.
