This organic coffee is a mix of the Sarchimore, Caturra and Bourbon varities grown at 1200-1500 masl. We roast this coffee to a medium level, aiming for a full, wholesome cup profile with a pronounced taste of dark chocolate and roasted nuts, complimented by a subtle acidity reminiscent of forest berries. In the end of a mouthfull you'll find notes of cane sugar and honey. When used in milkbased coffees, you almost end up with a cup of hot chocolate.

We recommend this coffee for all brews.
We source this coffee from the CAFEMEX cooperative, situated in Yajalon of the Chiapas region of Mexico. CAFEMEX counts 1155 farms spread across 2241 acres. From here it is shipped to Veracruz and internationally shipped by the Exportadora de Cafe California. Both cooperatives works actively towards a sustainable production, both socially and environmentally. For instance the Por mas Cafe programme works with a holistic social and economical philosophy towards a better living for the farmers.
Mexico is in many ways an ideal country for coffee farming and one the biggest exporters of organic Arabica coffees in the world.
